You must buy this if you want to expand your system beyond 4 lines and/or 8 phones. It extends about 12 inches to the right of the main control unit. We recommend ordering it with the starter package, for easier installation.

"Ground" shipping is free in the USA, only when ordered with a starter package or at least two Port Expansion Modules, or a Port Expansion Module plus an Internet Router Module.

AbleComm's ModBlock is a 66-type punchdown block with 8 two-pair modular cords attached. It plugs into jacks in your EncoreCX and many other phone systems, and accepts wires from your phone jacks.

It is also good for connecting "CO" phone lines to any phone system that uses one- or two-line jacks.

A mounting bracket is attached and a clear snap-on cover is included.

The ModBlock provides a reliable, professional method of making connections into phone systems. It's very useful for re-using wire from an old phone system -- even one with lots of extra wires.

Standard cords are about three feet long. We can provide a block with longer cords for a few bucks more.
